The Intersection of Disability & Race

It was an honor to be in a "Kindling Chat" as part of the #UnitySummit of 2022 in collaboration with National Network of Consultants to Grant makers (NNCG) I was able to share space and create this 20 min piece for the summit.

Disability Inclusion and Racial Equity are inextricably linked, one truly does not live without the other. Audre Lorde said "We do not live single issue lives" - NONE OF US. We all have intersecting identities, and it is only until we can appreciate and respect everyones intersecting identities can we truly come together as human beings and see our value and worth. I love sharing my story and being part of the #change. Thank you Unity Summit for inviting me, hopefully this is only the beginning.... Enjoy!
