The "M" word

October is Dwarfism Awareness Month!

....Heres a big one... the M word! Its a no-no for us little people. Using the word "midget" is offensive and dehumanizing to little people. We usually prefer OUR NAME, or little person or dwarf... but mostly our name. Most people do not know that the M word is offensive, but hopefully that will change soon! Through awareness and communication we can educate people about this word. Calling a little person a "midget", is the same thing as calling someone a "nigger" "fag" "spic"! All offensive and all NOT OKAY. So next time you hear someone say that word... I encourage you to educate them and spread the awareness
